About Janel

I am Janel — an artist, writer, and futurist. My work lives at the intersection of imagination and insight, exploring how stories shape perception and how perception reshapes our world.

As a writer, I’m practicing world-building through short stories — creating small universes that stand on their own but connect through a shared pulse of meaning. Each collection, for example Jade or Nevilla, becomes a lens through which I study character, consequence, and consciousness. These stories are experiments — ways for me to grow as a writer and storyteller, to find voice through the act of exploration.

This short story project is an ongoing practice in form and frequency, where art meets narrative and words become portals. Every story is a fragment of a greater mosaic, part of something larger still forming.

As a futurist, I use what I call my Network 35 (a network of 35 niche blogs) — a growing web of creative works designed to provoke new ways of thinking, seeing, and doing. My purpose is to inspire innovation at the level of perception: to help people notice differently, act differently, and create differently. I’m not interested in repeating what already exists; I’m here to question it, reshape it, and imagine what could be built instead.

As an artist, I translate inner landscapes into visual and narrative form. As a writer, I give those visions voice. And as a futurist, I seek to connect them — so that art, writing, and thought begin to move as one evolving language.

Explore my short story collections, where immersive creative writing, storytelling, and world-building converge. These collections provide insight for collectors and readers alike, offering a unique perspective on character, narrative, and consciousness in contemporary fiction. Each story is crafted to engage, inspire, and expand the boundaries of narrative art, connecting literary exploration with the evolving digital art world.
